Jason Ryan is accurate as he is proficient in his 6-string talents; a testament to his ’Zep and Rush influences. To clear up the misconception, Jay didn’t get into the band for his wicked guitar skills. It was for the massive throngs of hot women that follow him everywhere.
John Strossman: Keys, Guitar, Vocals
John Strossman is the triple-threat of the band. His ear for harmonies, rich keyboard textures, and solid rhythm guitar enable ‘Pest to recreate classic tunes with precision. John says he took on guitar duties to expand our repertoire. We know it’s because he’s a gear whore.
Scott Ryan: Drums
Scott Ryan honed his impressive drum licks in various local successful prog-rock bands. We accidentally let Scott in Household Pest because we thought he was related to Jason. Turns out he wasn’t, but kept him anyway because he brings beer to practice.
Mike Kocik: Bass, Vocals
Mike Kocik has been anchoring rhythm sections with other talented bandmates for over 15 years and now locks together the power and potency of Household Pest. As much as he thinks it would improve his image, we can’t let Mike dress like Bootsy Collins for our gigs.
Steve Seniuk: Lead Vocals
Steve Seniuk has been fronting some of Rochester’s more powerful bands for 20 years. Originally, Steve was going to be the keyboardist. But one night a spider crawled over his shoe and he screamed like a little girl. We knew right then we had found our lead singer.
